End of first half-season

After a few months of some of the best diving we've had in Banda so far -schooling hammerheads, a few new frog fishes found at the harbour, pods of dolphins and whatnot- the first half of the season (February-May) is coming to an end. Bluemotion Banda will be closed in June and July (exact dates yet to be confirmed) due to bad weather, but we will be back after the rainy season ready for some more world-class diving. You can contacts us at info@dive-bluemotion.com for any enquiries/bookings for the season starting in August.

Unfortunately the flights have not started yet even though we had confirmation from NBA that they would resume service from 25th of April. Hopefully it will start again in August, making it easy to get to the Bandas, even though now the Pelni schedule is optimal -roughly a boat per week. We will keep you updated here and on our Facebook page.

Enjoy the summer! -or winter if you live in the Southern hemisphere :)

I'll be in bandas from 26th may to 30th - any possibility of doing any dives with you? The dives wil have to be simple ones as I have my padu but not been diving for quite a while.
    Hope you can help? Thanks

Oct 9th, 2016: Old laptops needed for children's computer lab on Banda

We have supported the re-opening of a computer lab on Banda. The lab was setup more than a year ago supported by a social fund but had to close a few months ago as the operational costs couldn't be covered. It was now revived thanks to our volunteer teacher Masha. Children come there every afternoon to learn about computers, Mathematics and English. The interest and feedback has been very positive but, unfortunately, only 3 computers are functioning and available for more than 30 children. If you are going to visit us for diving and have an old laptop you don't need anymore, we would be very thankful if you could donate it to the lab.
